Seminole County and National Field Hockey Coaches Association team up to host the National Winter Escape Field Hockey Event and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Convention in Seminole County through 2029
ORLANDO NORTH, SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (July 14, 2025) – Seminole County is thrilled to announce the extension of our partnership with the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and will continue to host the Annual Winter Escape Showcase National Field Hockey Event at the Boombah Sports Complex and the Annual National Field Hockey College Coaches Convention here in Seminole County through 2029. Seminole County has been proudly hosting these events every year since 2018. The Winter Escape Showcase event attracts 100+ of the top girl’s field hockey teams from across the country who compete in a three-day showcase at the Boombah Sports Complex in front of several hundred college coaches and scouts. The NFHCA Convention brings in over 250 College Coaches as well as several vendors. These two events combined bring approximately 4,400 visitors into Seminole County each year and has generated a combined economic impact of over $18.4 million dollars for Seminole County over the past 8 years.
