Danny Trosset
Director of Sports Tourism
Danny Trosset currently serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Orlando North Seminole County Sports. He was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and has been with Seminole County since 2008, serving as the Executive Director of Tourism before taking on his current role as the Director of Sports Tourism for Orlando North Seminole County. As the Director of Sports Tourism, Danny oversees the sports tourism’s teams efforts for Seminole County to maximize economic impact generated by sports tournaments and events.
David Broussard
Business Development Manager
David joined the Orlando North, Seminole County Sports team in October of 2017. Prior to starting his current role, he served as the Assistant Park Supervisor at the BOOMBAH Sports Complex. With a degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine and his Masters in Sports Management from American Public University, David’s role involves driving growth and promoting Orlando North as a premier destination for sports events, identifying and attracting sports-related businesses, tournaments, and events to the county.

Jordan Lyda
Business Development Manager
Jordan became part of the Orlando North, Seminole County Sports team in November of 2017. Prior to his arrival he spent his career in college athletics development, serving the departments at UCF and the University of California, Berkeley with a focus on raising money for the football, basketball, and baseball programs, respectively. A native of Gainesville, Florida and a lifelong Florida Gator fan, Jordan fosters partnerships with sports organizations and planners, helping to make every event held in the county a success for all involved.

Colby Goncalves
Sports Marketing Manager
Colby joined the Orlando North, Seminole County Tourism team in October of 2021. Prior to his arrival he spent his career in the hospitality industry ranging from hotels to food and beverage, and aviation. Colby is a native of Miami Beach, Florida and a lifelong Dolphins fan. He holds a Bachelor of Business administration from Northwood University.
Karen Aplin
Tourism Director
Karen began her journey with Orlando North, Seminole County in 2019. After graduating from FSU’s Dedman College of Hospitality in 2012, she spent 4 years living in Central America where she worked alongside hotels, short-term rentals, and tourism- focused attractions as a brand marketing strategist and digital brand designer. Following her return to the U.S. in 2017, she helped jumpstart a marketing agency, which she co-led out of Downtown Orlando.
Jessica Pickering
Tourism Marketing Manager
Jessica has been with the Orlando North, Seminole County Tourism Team since November of 2020. Prior to starting her current role, she was an Account Manager with Travel Media Group. She has a passion for storytelling, photography, traveling to new places, reading, and eating good food. Jessica graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 with a degree in Communications Management and a minor in Creative Writing.
Elizabeth Caldarelli
Greater Orlando Sports Commission
A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Elizabeth Caldarelli joined GO Sports in 2022 after graduating from Troy University with a Masters in Sport Management. While earning her degree at Troy, she interned in Recruiting and Operations with the Football Program, contributing to 'junior days,' spring practices, sourcing and procuring products and supplies for events, and establishing budgets. She was also a member of the Troy Women's Golf Team from 2020-2022. Prior to attending Troy, Elizabeth graduated with a BS in Sport Management from Texas A&M University in 2020, where she was a member of the Women's Golf Team as well as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Guilherme Cunha
Administrator Office of Economic Development and Tourism
Gui Cunha came to Seminole County in 2016 after serving as Florida International University’s Assistant Director of Events and Operations. With an undergrad in Hospitality and Tourism and a masters degree in Sports Administration, Gui was tagged with assisting Sports Tourism Tourism team in the development of the newly constructed Seminole County sports complexes. Most recently, Gui is the Seminole County Administrator managing the Office of Economic Development and Tourism. The Office of Economic Development and Tourism has assisted the community in attaining Seminole County’s highest tourist development tax collection, lowest unemployment rate, and highest average annual wage in County history.
