Lake Monroe is an excellent destination for fishing, canoeing, sailing, kayaking and rowing. As one of the largest lakes in the Orlando metropolitan area, it provides outstanding bass fishing year-round and crappie fishing in the cooler months.
The Sanford Civic Center is located on scenic lakefront property surrounded by a lush courtyard with picnic tables and large shade trees, and has become the center of multi-cultural community activities and entertainment.
This soccer club is privately owned and works in conjunction with Orlando North in putting on some of Central Florida’s biggest soccer events on its 40-acre facility. This facility, known as the Seminole Soccer Complex, has seven full-size soccer fields, four modified U11/12 fields, three modified U9/10 fields and numerous 4v4 fields for younger soccer players.
