Danny Trosset

Danny Trosset currently serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Orlando North Seminole County Sports.
 
Danny was born and raised on Orlando, Florida where he attended Bishop Moore High School and went on to Flagler College in Saint Augustine where he received his degree in Sports Management. After college Dannycompleted an internship with the Central Florida Sports Commission where he was hired on as a Sports Manager and worked for the Sports Commission for 2  years. Danny took a position with Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau where he became the Sports Sales and Marketing Manager in September of 2008. Danny has been with Seminole County since 2008 and has served as the Executive Director of Tourism and was then promoted to his current role in as the Director of Sports Tourism for Orlando North Seminole County. As the Director of Sports Tourism, Danny oversees the sports tourism’s teams efforts for Seminole County to maximize economic impact generated by sports tournaments and events.
 
Danny is married to his wife Amanda and they have three children. Outside of bringing in sports tournaments and spending time with family, Danny also started a Non-Profit Organization called Sports 4 The Kids whose mission is to provide financially disadvantaged youth throughout Central Florida with the opportunity to participate in local sports programs. Danny’s non-profit efforts have helped provide over 600 sports scholarships over the past five years to children in need throughout Central Florida and they are expecting to provide over 300+ scholarships this coming school year.

David Broussard

David joined the Orlando North, Seminole County Sports team in October of 2017. Prior to starting his current role, he served as the Assistant Park Supervisor at the BOOMBAH Sports Complex. David obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine and his Masters in Sports Management from American Public University. David currently lives in Altamonte Springs with his wife, Chia.

Jordan Lyda

Jordan joined the Orlando North, Seminole County Sports team in November of 2017. Prior to his arrival he spent his career in college athletics development, serving the departments at UCF and the University of California, Berkeley with a focus on raising money for the football, basketball, and baseball programs, respectively. Jordan is a native of Gainesville, Florida and a lifelong Florida Gator fan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management from Flagler College.

Shalisa Griffin

Manager of Business Development & Events for Seminole County

Shalisa Griffin

Shalisa Griffin joined GO Sports in 2017 and calls Newark, New Jersey home. Griffin graduated from Delaware State University with a bachelor’s degree in sport management, and minor in hospitality and tourism management. She then went to the University of Central Florida and graduated from the DeVos Sport Business Management Program with dual master’s degrees in business administration and sport business management. While pursuing her postgraduate degrees, Griffin was also a graduate assistant and game day manager for UCF athletics, as well as a premium seating and events assistant for Florida Citrus Sports. Upon graduation, she then went on to complete the NCAA Postgraduate Internship Program. Griffin currently serves on the Board of Directors for Sports2Change, a nonprofit organization that connects high school student-athletes with nonprofits in need of volunteers. She also volunteers with New Hope for Kids – The Center for Grieving Children and serves at her local church.
