Fall Lineup of Youth and Collegiate Sports Tournaments



Great Spectator Events at Seminole County Parks and Championship Sports Venues


SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd…there’s plenty of sports tourneys in Seminole County, with Soccer, Softball, Baseball and Football filling the fields and stands. And there’s one, two, three months of events showcasing youth and collegiate competitions! Come visit with us in Orlando North, Seminole County and catch the fall sports fever while enjoying fabulous weather:



October 5-7 – 200 youth soccer teams, U9 – U19 age divisions, will compete in the Orlando City Cup.  This tourney is expected to draw 7,000 visitors to Seminole County,  and have a projected $1.2 million economic impact. Various Locations: Seminole Soccer Complex, Boombah Sports Complex, East Lake Park, Sylvan Lake Park, Moore’s Station. Organized by Orlando City Sports Commission.

October 12-14 – 60 elite Fastpitch softball teams from coast to coast compete in the Power 50 Invitational, a college showcase event, HomeRun Derby Friday night to kick off event attended by some of the biggest names in college softball. Event organized by former pro and UCF hall of famer Stephanie Best. Locations: Soldiers Creek, Boombah Sports Complex, Seminole Softball Complex. Organized by ProSwings.

October 20-21 – Take me out to the ballpark for the Nations Baseball Fall Invitational being held at the Boombah Sports Complex. You can enjoy “America’s favorite pastime” plus popcorn, peanuts and Cracker Jacks!

October 26-28 – Seminole County welcomes the Fall Sun Classic, an 80-team elite Fastpitch softball college showcase event. Top-level softball on display for 3 days in Seminole County. Locations: Boombah Sports Complex, Soldiers Creek Park, Seminole Softball Complex. Organized by Diamond 9.

November 3-4 – The Boombah Sports Complex will be filled to the stands with Perfect Game Youth Florida’s High School Fall Nationals. This event will bring in teams from all over Florida to compete in this weekend tournament. Perfect Game projects over 70 teams and 250 room nights from visiting teams and families.

November 16-18 – The cheering continues, this time for football, when the Central Florida Youth Football and Cheer’s AYF Southeast Regional tournament kicks off at the Boombah Sports Complex. This event is expected to generate over 500 room nights for Seminole County.

December 8-9 – The United States Specialty Sports Association’s Central Florida Winter Nationals baseball tourney showcases top area sluggers, pitchers and fielders at the Boombah Sports Complex. The event will drive over 2,000 total visitors into our area for the weekend.

Also December 8-9 – USSSA Fastpitch brings 95 of the best fastpitch softball teams from all over Florida to converge in Seminole County and battle it out for the winter state championships in the Central Florida State Championships. This event will bring over 3,000 visitors into the destination. Locations: Soldiers Creek, Seminole Softball Complex, Merrill Park, Red Bug Lake Park
